Tourism Whistlers’ Travel Trade, Market Development team works with third party trade partners (i.e., Tour Operators, Travel Agents, and Online Travel Agencies (OTA’s)) to drive overnight visits from key markets of Australia, UK, Germany, Mexico, United States, and Canada.
Reporting to the Manager(s), Market Development, the Coordinator, Market Development supports Tourism Whistler’s goals through the development and maintenance of strong client relationships. This role primarily supports the Market Development Managers in maintaining the client base, coordinating administrative activities, and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate brings strong communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, initiative, and a passion for the tourism industry and Tourism Whistler’s purpose.
