The Coordinator, Human Resources β Attendance & Leave Specialist serves as the plantβs single point of contact and subject matter expert for attendance and leave management within a unionized manufacturing environment. This front-line, employee-facing role administers the National Attendance Program in alignment with the collective bargaining agreement, leads corrective action hearings, and issues attendance-related discipline up to and including termination. The position requires exceptional communication skills, strong conflict resolution abilities, meticulous documentation, and the capacity to navigate sensitive, high-pressure situations with professionalism, consistency, and respect.
