Job Description
Overview
Coordinator Environmental – Rustenburg, Northwest, South Africa
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining a good working knowledge of Environmental legislation
- Monitoring and coordinating site’s compliance to all Environmental legislation and authorizations
- Remaining abreast of developments in Environmental thinking and practice
- Coordinating the implementation and ongoing development of Environmental Management Plans.
- Monitor and evaluate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
- Liaison with relevant government departments, water users, service providers and other external stakeholders
- Ensure and enforce adherence to all Environmental standards of the Glencore Alloys division
- Reporting of site data on internal and governmental Environmental Information Systems (GSD, ISOMETRIX, SAAELIP: NAEIS, SAWIS, etc)
