The Controls Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing control systems for electro-mechanical actuators and robots. The key duties and responsibilities include:
• Running bench-top tests for mechanical actuators, robots, and other control systems to verify proper operation and collect performance data.
• Collecting, organizing, and storing test data for analysis and record-keeping purposes.
• Utilizing software tools, such as MATLAB, to execute test plans without much supervision.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to implement control system upgrades, modifications, and new installations.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all testing, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
$50/hour to $55/hour
