MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious engineering client in their 2026 recruitment initiative with the recruitment of a permanent Controls Engineer to strengthen their team. The Job You’ll Do:
* Design, develop and commission control systems
* Develop PLC, HMI and SCADA software
* Configure and integrate multifunction meters, protection relays, PLCs, HMIs, gateways and communications devices.
* Produce and review I/O schedules, control philosophies, cause and effect documents, and functional design documentation.
* Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and layouts.
* Support the integration of systems using protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP and BACnet.
