About the Role
What You'll Do
**Department: **Maintenance **Reports to: **Maintenance Manager **Shift: **B shift (5:15 PM – 5:15 AM) 2-2-3 schedule
About the Role
Provide technical expertise for programming, installation, and maintenance of new and existing manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot equipment issues, support production and skilled trades, and drive continuous improvement — all with safety as top priority.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair electrical/controls issues; ensure operator safety devices function properly
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, ladder logic, and robot interfacing
- Oversee equipment upgrades and programming changes; improve cycle times on robotic welding/assembly lines
- Maintain documentation and train production/maintenance team members
- Evaluate equipment and recommend upgrades or repairs
- Partner with production, vendors, and contractors to resolve issues quickly
