Job Description
Controls Engineer 2
- Location: Oshawa, ON – Hybrid
- Pay Rate: $45/hr – $52/hr
- Contract Length: 12 Months
Responsibilities
- Engineer and design electrical wiring diagrams.
- Design electrical control panels.
- Design and troubleshoot programmable logic controller software, with preference for Allen Bradley/RS Logix 5000.
- Design programmable human‑machine interface (HMI) software.
- Try out, debug, and provide start‑up support for control systems.
- Provide technical support for installation of tools and equipment.
- Provide technical support for training of plant personnel.
- Travel to plant sites as required.
Skills
- Proficient with programmable machine controls hardware and software.
- Proficient with Servo drive hardware and software.
