Job Description
Our client is a well-known food manufacturer with plants in NY and NJ. Due to growth, seeking a Controller to join the Finance Department. Primary responsibilities include:
+ Lead plant accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, GAAP compliance, internal controls, and effective collaboration with Plant Managers and department leadership.
+ Manage standard costing, BOM analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance reporting to improve cost accuracy and plant profitability.
+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, profitability analyses, and executive reports supporting strategic business decisions.
+ Oversee general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, collections, credit approvals, promotion accruals, and financial data integrity.
