Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a Contract engagement based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is focused on bringing the company’s financial records up to date, supporting audit readiness, and ensuring core accounting activities are completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate can step into an established environment, work through existing documentation and templates, and quickly drive completion of key accounting deliverables within a short-term assignment.

Responsibilities:
• Bring financial records current by reviewing existing documentation, resolving outstanding accounting items, and organizing priorities for timely completion.
• Prepare audit support materials, including reconciliations and workpapers, to help ensure the company is ready for ongoing audit requirements.
• Complete balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to improve accuracy in reported results.
