Control Engineer
Glasgow HQ, 320 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5AD
Starting salary: £55,000- £68,750 per annum. Plus generous shift allowance.
We are seeking to grow our Control Room significantly and will have several opportunities for interested parties with various levels of experience to join us and become Control Engineers. However for this vacancy we are specifically looking for Senior Authorised Persons with experience of a DNO network - or as a minimum a candidate who is clearly on a path to achieve that status.
What you’ll be doing
- Will be expected to gain CONT authorisation at Distribution and / or Transmission Voltages
- Ensure that the network is operated in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with Operational Procedures and Safety Rules.
- Manage the operational interface between Network Operations, Incident Controllers and DCC to ensure associated Customer Service targets are delivered.
