Job Description
Summary You will serve as a Contract Specialist within the NATEC Division of COMFRC NAVAIR in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities You will prepare competitive and non-competitive solicitation documents. You will support aircraft and aircraft system maintenance, repair, testing, and production. You will solicit proposals from prospective contractors and conducts pre-proposal conferences. You will perform cost and/or price analysis. You will negotiate with potential contractors on a competitive or sole-source basis. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Analyzing contract type to determine sources and methods of solicitation for competitive and sole source acquisitions and conducting co...
