Position Overview
Pacific Canbriam Energy is hiring an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join the maintenance team in the Altares area. The role reports to the Maintenance Shift Lead and involves installation, troubleshooting, and repair of site equipment on a camp‑based schedule with 7/7 12‑hour shifts. The successful candidate will be on‑call as necessary and must pass a drug and alcohol test.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair instrument issues to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Install and commission new equipment.
- Perform calibration and regular inspections of instruments.
- Update, manage, and close out work orders in the CMMS promptly and accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repair work, and supplies used.
- Perform routine maintenance on a scheduled basis to reduce risk and cost.
