Job Description
Become instrumental in the 2026 harvest season with Andrew Peller Limited in Grimsby, Ontario. As a Harvest Winemaker, you will focus on optimizing quality and efficiency through the winemaking process.
This contract role reports to the VQA Winemaker and involves ensuring compliance with winemaker specifications during the harvest. Candidates with a B.Sc. or relevant diploma and a minimum of three years in Winery Operations are preferred. Strong skills in fermentation and food science, coupled with excellent time management and organizational capabilities, will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate ferment status to the Winemaker
• Participate in tastings of juices and wines
• Manage daily activities through work orders
• Inspect fruit quality upon arrival
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
