Job Description
Role Summary
Contract Electrical Design Engineer with the Redline Group to design and develop electrical systems for advanced stationary power and battery-based products. Work alongside a multidisciplinary engineering team, taking ownership of electrical schematics, wiring designs, and system validation. Contract based onsite in Loughborough for an initial 6‑month term. Work will be interpreted as inside‑IR35 under an umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics and wiring schematics.
- Design wiring looms and cable assemblies.
- Validate electrical systems as part of system validation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering team.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience using SolidWorks Electrical.
- Solid knowledge of electrical schematic capture and documentation.
