The Contract & Commercial Manager may either lead a tender or be the commercial lead on a project. The Contract & Commercial Manager will generally follow the same project through the full project lifecycle, from receipt of tender through to project execution.
On a project, the Contract & Commercial Manager will be responsible for contracts management and project controls including planning, cost control, document control and project risk and management, with these functions reporting directly to the Contract & Commercial Manager during project execution.
The Contract & Commercial Manager will either have a commercial or contractual background, typically with experience as a commercial manager, business manager and/or contracts manager.
