Job Purpose
The Consultation Coordinator supports the Nation’s duty to uphold Treaty and Inherent Rights through the coordination and administration of consultation activities. As part of the Planning and Development branch, the coordinator helps manage the day‑to‑day administrative and coordination tasks involved in consultation work. These include reviewing project notices and applications, assessing potential impacts through spatial desktop reviews, organizing community engagement activities, coordinating fieldwork, transcribing field reports, compiling traditional knowledge, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the process. The role ensures that all incoming proposals and development projects, both on and off reserve, are reviewed for their potential impacts on the Nation’s land, environment, culture, and traditional practices.
