Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of actuarial valuations and funding projections for various defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and maintain robust audit trails.
- Assist in the annual production of audited financial statements and ensure high accuracy.
- Assist with federal and provincial government regulatory filings and ensure adherence to pension legislation.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in reporting workflows, including through Excel automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2β3 years of experience in an actuarial or pension-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel formulas, VBA, Word, PowerPoint).
