As a Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare system by providing specialised expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic conditions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and management of a wide range of ophthalmic conditions and disorders.
Providing expert guidance on ocular emergencies and urgent care.
Collaborating with other medical professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Participating in the on-call rota, ensuring 24/7 coverage for ophthalmic cases.
Teaching and mentoring junior medical staff, students, and trainees.
