Construction Worker

Full-time Engineering

Construction Workers perform a variety of tasks to assist in the building and repair of structures. This may include:

Site Preparation

• Clearing and preparing construction sites
• Digging trenches
• Leveling ground
• Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, barricades, and other structures

Material Handling

• Loading and unloading building materials (e.g., lumber, bricks, concrete)
• Moving and storing materials on site

General Labor

• Assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
• Mixing concrete
• Operating power tools (with proper training and supervision)

Safety

• Following all safety regulations and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Reporting any safety hazards to supervisors
