Job Description
Main job function
- Supervise site staff and daily construction activities
- Allocate labour, materials, plant, and other resources effectively
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors on site
- Oversee project scheduling and task coordination
- Supervise the safe and efficient use of plant and machinery
- Ensure all health and safety regulations and site compliance requirements are adhered to
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
- Carry out accurate setting out and verification of work
- Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Report on site progress and resolve site-related issues where required
Qualifications
- Grade 12
Criteria
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Construction Foreman
