- Supervise and direct daily activities of field crew (laborers, operators, subs)
- Read and interpret plans, specs, and NCDOT standards
- Coordinate grading, drainage, erosion control, and structure work
- Ensure work is performed to required quality and specifications
- Maintain daily production goals and keep project on schedule
