Location: 21 Atlantic Drive, Cape Farms, Cape Town
Job Purpose
To ensure the efficient and accurate programming, nesting and scheduling of sheet metal and steel components for production, while maintaining system integrity, material availability and manufacturing efficiency. The CNC Programmer supports production by creating and updating nesting and bending programs, managing material requirements, and resolving production-related issues to ensure on-time delivery and optimal material utilisation.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) with a relevant qualification.
- 1-2 years’ experience in the Steel Industry
- SigmaNest, Bysoft, TruTops Classic and SolidWorks experience (an advantage)
- Bending and Nesting experience
- Ability to work a late shift once or twice per month and be on standby over so...
