Job Description
Step into the role of Desktop Support Technician with Compucom in Ottawa and tackle essential IT challenges. Provide on-site assistance and ensure operational efficiency across various devices.
This position involves managing both Tier 1 and Tier 2 support tasks to resolve client technical issues effectively. As part of your duties, you will configure IT devices, troubleshoot connectivity, and maintain accurate inventory records. Your hands-on approach will foster reliability and support optimal performance for users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support users with Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical queries
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot IT equipment
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate database updates
• Prepare equipment for appropriate disposal methods
• Respond promptly to internal service requests
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar
• Minimum of five years supporting IT devices
• Strong background in customer service
