Duties:
The City of Stratford is seeking a detail‑orientated and analytical Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to join our Corporate Services team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Services, this position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll and benefits, all while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, collective agreements, and internal policies.
Work Performed:
Managing weekly payroll runs, financial reconciliations, and submissions to the bank.
Administering compensation, benefits, and pension programs (OMERS).
Maintaining compliance with government legislation and collective agreements regarding payroll and benefits administration.
Processing hires, transfers, terminations, and leave adjustments in payroll systems.
