Job Description

The Food Pantry Coordinator provides daily oversight of the NHCC Emergency Food Pantry and is also responsible for building community relationships to assist with obtaining donations and funding sources. Direct contact with pantry clients is required, so experience working with underserved populations is preferred.



Responsibilities:

ยท Adhering to agency policy, as well as policies from the town, county or other organizations whom provide support, donations, funding, etc.

ยท Identify and establish new sources of food and/or financial donations with local resources and businesses; maintain current relationships with donors

ยท Pick-up, shop, store and organize food from donation sources, stores, etc.

ยท Facilitate referrals and pack food in a timely manner

ยท Train and oversee volunteers and staff; maintain schedules of staff and volunteers to ensure coverage
