Job Description
Become a vital team member in Kamloops Community and Home Health as a Community Occupational Therapist. Support clients transitioning home from Royal Inland Hospital with personalized care and treatment plans.
This role involves providing essential services to clients in Kamloops, along with designated rural areas within a 1.5-hour radius. You will be integral in assessment and program planning, ensuring clients achieve optimal health outcomes and functional independence. Access to a personal vehicle may be necessary as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and develop treatment plans for home health clients
• Implement and consult on therapy programs for clients
• Educate clients and families on maintaining health
• Prescribe equipment as needed for client support
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Full practicing license with CHCPBC
