Join South Riverdale Community Health Centre as a Community Harm Reduction Specialist, working part-time in East Toronto. Focus on harm reduction supply preparation and community engagement to support marginalized populations
This role includes key responsibilities such as preparing harm reduction kits, supporting clients in distress, and responding to community needs through ongoing communication. You will also be responsible for documenting activities, maintaining organized supply areas, and ensuring a supportive environment for all clients. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare harm reduction kits for clients
• Safely dispose of returned sharps responsibly
• Conduct needle sweeps in the community
