Job Description
Overview
The Community Enhancement Worker will work to enhance existing health programs within Zagime Anishinabek. They work alongside other front-line workers to provide connection and outreach services to families, youth and community members.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate events in the community alongside other health programs within Zagime Anishinabek.
- Coordinate and develop a life skills program for young adults.
- Provide outreach services to families, children and youth.
- Network with community programs and services.
- Coordinate land‑based healing activities and provide land‑based programming to community members.
- Provide support and aftercare services for clients with mental health and addictions.
- Coordinate workshops on a variety of topics focusing on mental health, addictions, life skills, youth involvement, etc.
