Job Description
The role of the Communications Coordinator is part of the Marketing Department.
This position serves as the primary writer and communications producer for Simpson University.
Duties include writing blog posts, press releases, website copy, and other institutional communications, as well as writing and producing the quarterly Life Together publication recapping the previous quarter.
This role assists with writing speeches and remarks for university leadership, supports overall university messaging, and works with local media to secure interviews and coverage.
Additionally, this role develops content for student enrollment communication flows and supports the department's creative production needs, including graphic design, photography, short-form video for social media, and media library management.
This role works closely with the Senior Marketing Specialist and the Admissions team.
