About The Role
We are actively seeking a Common Core Specialist - Open Pit Mining for a 24 month fixed term to provide dedicated Common Core competency validation and Site Signing Authority support for Mining operations. The role exists to strengthen site training governance and provide dedicated support for required workplace/job observations, verification of performance objectives, and defensible competency sign-off for assigned modular training requirements.
The position supports the employer’s obligation to establish, maintain, and administer applicable Ontario mining modular training programs by ensuring that competency validation, field observations, performance objective sign-offs, and training records are completed consistently, accurately, and in accordance with applicable MLITSD/MTCU modular training requirements.
