Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the assigned commodity
Closely following assigned commodity supply market activities and price trends and take necessary action
Identifying, qualifying and selecting global suppliers with a team of supplier development engineers (SDE)
To develop alternative suppliers within commodity to leverage overall cost and services
Work with SDE to identify and develop new suppliers for cost reduction
Responsible in leading and conducting global supplier negotiation of price, terms and services
Management of contracts and agreements with suppliers
Responsible for reviewing and negotiating on VDP Agreements with key suppliers
Monitor & track PCN
Be proactive in managing supplier capacity to match demand of all manufacturing sites
Monitor and review key supplier performance with regular feedback in QBRs
