The Commodity Planner is vital to managing inventory of designated commodities, ensuring smooth operations for both domestic and imported items. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Quality team and maintain communication with farms for effective inventory planning. Support the Jr. Commodity Planner while navigating a fast-moving clerical office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Forecast and plan purchases based on sales volume
• Check product quality and communicate with the Quality team
• Coordinate customer expectations with Production and Shipping
• Monitor picking forecasts directly with farms
• Provide feedback to Production on grading accuracy
