Scope & Ownership
Owns the combustor: burners and fuel injection, burner air distribution, combustor shell, and combustor seals - including combustion performance, emissions (low-NOx / DLE), ignition and altitude relight, and combustion stability. For a sufficiently strong hire this role may also own combustion-dynamics analysis.
Minimum Education
● Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
● Masters or PhD in combustion preferred
