Job Role: Coded Welder - Craft Worker 1
Location: Sizewell
Duration: Long - term (2 years +)
Pay rate: £24.14 per hour
Our client Sizewell is looking for Coded Welder - Craft Worker 1, who will be performing high quality welding and fabrication work in accordance with engineering drawings, safety standards, and operational targets. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
Setting up and operating welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.)
Preparing materials through cutting, grinding, and fitting
Executing welds to meet engineering, safety, and quality standards
Inspecting finished products for defects (visual inspection, measurements, NDT if applicable)
Collaborating with fabricators, engineers, and supervisorsSkills
