Job Description
Minimum Requirements Valid Code 14 (EC) drivers licence Valid DGD ( Dangerous Goods ) Grade 12 (Preferred) Minimum 35 years Code 14 driving experience Experience with tankers or heavy vehicles (advantage) Key Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate articulated tanker trucks (Superlinks/interlinks) Transport bulk liquid products Plan and follow efficient delivery routes Drive defensively in all weather and traffic conditions Supervise or perform safe loading/unloading of liquids Connect hoses and operate pumping systems Ensure correct sealing and valve safety procedures Follow Road Traffic Act & OHSA regulations Comply with hazardous materials / DG transport rules Perform daily vehicle inspections (tyres, brakes, tank seals, lights) Report defects, leaks, or incidents immediately Carry fire extinguishers and emergency equipment Complete logbooks, delivery notes, and trip sheets Record fuel quantities, seal numbers, and delivery confirmations Report mileage, delays, and incidents Commun...
