**Job Description**
This role operates a Boschert CNC punch press to produce precision parts by punching holes into copper and aluminum bars. You will perform machine setups, run production lots, monitor equipment for issues, and ensure parts meet quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a Boschert CNC punch press to punch holes into copper and aluminum bars according to specifications.
+ Perform all assigned machine shop operations on the CNC punch press, including setup, retooling, and adjustments.
+ Set up the machine for multiple production runs per day, including tooling and changeovers.
+ Make minor edits to CNC programs to ensure accurate and efficient production.
+ Detect and report defective materials, questionable conditions, or machine malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
