Job Description

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer, looking for full time day shift work in the Whtiby area?

CNC Programmer needed immediately in Whitby

$34 – $38/hr, depending on experience

Monday to Friday, Day Shift (8am to 4:30pm)

Overtime after 44 hours, extended hours might be required

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify and optimize CNC programs using CAM software
  • Set up CNC machines including tooling selection, offsets, feeds, speeds and verification runs
  • Fine tune CNC parameters to ensure efficiency, accuracy and repeatability
  • Troubleshoot machining issues
  • Support production flow by responding to urgent CNC programming or set up needs
  • Operate CNC machines when required, to validate programs or support production demands
  • Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
  • Produce components or tooling internally as required
