**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on setting up and operating DMG Mori Seiki CNC mills to produce low-volume and prototype parts for production and engineering. The CNC Mill Machinist performs multiple daily setups, makes program edits using G and M codes, handles tool changes, and works with both CNC and manual mills and lathes. The person in this position inspects their own parts to ensure quality and accuracy, using blueprints and precision measuring tools to meet tight tolerances.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up DMG Mori Seiki CNC mills for production and prototype work, completing approximately 4–6 setups per day.
+ Perform low-volume production runs of 25 parts or fewer and support prototype machining for the engineering team.
+ Handle full machine setup, including workholding, tooling, offsets, and program loading for mills and lathes.
