CNC Machinist - Lathe - Krafo Industrial Sdn Bhd

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes with live tools and turn-mill configurations
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T specifications
• Perform tool selection, offsets, and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
• Conduct in-process inspections and ensure parts meet quality standards
• Optimize machining parameters for cycle time and tool life
• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to resolve machining issues

Requirements

• Operating CNC lathe machines safely
• Setting up tools, offsets, and workpieces
• Reading technical drawings and tolerances
• Basic understanding of G-code programming
• Using measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.) for quality checks
• Knowing cutting tools and tool wear
• Troubleshooting machining issues (size, finish, vibration)
