Job Description
Our client in Clare, MI, is seeking a Machinist 1 to join their team. As a Machinist 1, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Machinist 1
**Location:** Clare, MI
**Pay Range:** $19 - $23 an hour, depending on experience
**Shift:**
1st - 6 am to 4 pm
2nd - 4 pm to 2 am
Monday through Thursday, Friday is used for overtime
**What's the Job?**
+ Set up and operate machine equipment including CNC, milling, boring, drilling, tapping, threading, and lathes.
+ Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists to move materials safely and efficiently.
+ Utilize JD Edwards, work order routings/parts lists, and work order paperwork to complete jobs accurately.
