CNC LATHE OR MILL PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR
Job Description
Follow company health and safety policies including use of appropriate PPE.
- Review job traveler, drawing and samples to understand job; ask for clarification as required.
- Machine setup, touch-off of tools, fixture placement.
- Run, operate & program CNC machines as well as manual machines when required.
- Complete preliminary first-off & in-process checks.
- Complete customer quality paperwork as required.
Follow ISO 9001:2015 system.
- Maintain & calibrate personal measuring equipment as per NPL’s calibration system.
- Assist with housekeeping of all work areas.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, clean & repair equipment.
- Other duties as directed by Management.
Number of hours per week: 40-44 hours, Overtime as required by management.
Machinist Certification & 5 years machining experience preferred.
