Who You Are
The CMM Programmer is in the Component Manufacturing Department and responsible for inspection of FANUC parts to ensure conformance to engineering specifications. Provide inspection reports to communicate qualitative and quantitative results with engineering. Engaged in technical discussions about metrology methods employed and the corresponding results. Process detailed nonconformance reports to return material to vendors for issue resolution.
How It’s Done
+ Champion a first article inspection process to achieve quality group KPI measures.
+ Conduct part inspection through a receiving inspection process.
+ Conduct full layout inspection of parts submitted through a first article inspection process.
+ Create CMM programs and reports for complex parts.
