Cloud Engineer (Data)
Location: Client site, Bangalore, 5 days WFO
Minimum Relevant Experience: 5-10 Years
- Client is looking for a hands-on Data Engineer rather than an Architect, Lead, or Manager. They want someone who can code, build data pipelines, and work independently in a modern cloud data engineering environment.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Spark + Scala
- Experience with AWS Glue
- Working knowledge of Snowflake
- Strong SQL and coding fundamentals
Good to Have:
- DBT
- Spark Streaming
- Experience in data migration projects
- Exposure to on-prem + cloud environments
- Screening Expectations
- Strong SQL proficiency (should handle basic queries comfortably)
- Clear understanding of data engineering concepts
