Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop and evolve our AWS-based database deployments with a focus on scaling and automation
- Take ownership of database performance - pro-actively identify bottlenecks, improve configurations and work with other engineering teams to tune applications
- Design, develop and test backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure they are robust and reproducible
- Build scalable, robust solutions for complex technical challenges, ensuring infrastructure design aligns with best practices and long-term platform goals.
- Promote engineering excellence and contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience building and managing database infrastructure in AWS (Aurora MySQL, Aurora Postgres, DynamoDB, Lambda, KMS, IAM and related services).
- Deep understanding of SQL, as well as MySQL and/or PostgresQL specific features.
