At VSH – North County, overnight ECC is where some of our most complex and critical medicine happens. As a 24/7, AAHA-accredited specialty and emergency hospital, our overnight teams manage high-acuity emergency and critical care cases with a high level of independence, trust, and clinical rigor.
Overnights here mean advanced anesthesia, ventilator management, CRIs, transfusions, post-op critical patients, and rapid stabilization — often without the safety net of a full daytime roster. This is an environment built for experienced ECC professionals who are confident in making decisions, supporting one another, and handling whatever comes through the doors at 2:00 am.
