Join Grand River Veterinary Hospital as a Clinical Veterinary Extern and gain vital practical experience. Work closely with veterinarians and improve your clinical skills in a community-focused culture.
This externship provides veterinary students with a hands-on learning experience over two to eight weeks at an NVA hospital. Students will learn to gather patient histories, perform physical exams, and assist in surgeries while receiving valuable mentorship from seasoned professionals dedicated to excellent veterinary care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and document patient histories and perform exams
• Assist in developing treatment plans alongside vets
• Observe and participate in surgical procedures
