Job Summary

This position involves working in specialized laboratories and may include both highly skilled manual techniques and automated testing using sophisticated instrumentation.

Duties

• Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids.


• Participate in operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.


• Operate and maintain instruments, troubleshoot assays, and evaluate tests for accuracy.


• Assist with interpreting results and provide operational support to optimize testing.


• Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.


• May assist with specimen collection.


• Strictly adhere to safety protocols to work with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards.
