Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
The Clinical Engineering Technician is responsible for the management and maintenance of all medical equipment as per manufacturer’s specifications and Health Technology Regulations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Medical Equipment Management
- Responsible for the management of all medical equipment.
- Implement and maintain the CMMS (SAP PM) for all medical equipment.
- Manage and maintain medical equipment installed base for CAPEX, rentals, demo and loan equipment on the CMMS.
- Plan and execute timely equipment services, via the CMMS, to comply with manufacturer specifications, ECRI and/or Health Technology Regulations, in line with Netcare Technical recommendations.
- Acceptance of service certificates from contractors, ensuring data is completed correctly at the correct intervals of service, National service level agreements are adhered to, and follow‑up repairs are planned and prioritis...
