Job Description
Become a Client Support Worker with Waasegiizhig Nanaandawe’iyewigamig, focused on Indigenous health in Kenora. This full-time position offers a chance to support clients through holistic care and culturally informed practices.
In this role, you'll participate in a supportive housing program running 24/7. Responsibilities include monitoring client engagement, coordinating case management, and facilitating meaningful group sessions featuring outdoor and hands-on activities. You will empower clients to seek necessary health services while respecting and incorporating Indigenous cultural practices into their healing journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in establishing and achieving their goals
• Coordinate essential resources and case management
• Support access to addiction and mental health services
• Perform client intake and connect to cultural supports
• Help maintain a positive and safe communal environment
