Job Description
Location: The Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Gweek, Cornwall, TR12 6UG
Hours: Guaranteed 5 hours per week. Typically 2 days from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm during the summer period; off‑peak hours approx. 11:00 am to 2:00/3:00 pm. Cover required Thursday‑Monday when the other cleaner is on leave.
Contract Type: Permanent, bi‑weekly pay
Responsibilities
Ensure the attraction is litter‑free, clean, hygienic, and presentable for guests. Clean all attraction spaces, staff areas, visitor and staff toilets, and interact with guests by answering questions and providing assistance. Maintain high cleaning standards and engage with visitors to enhance their experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You work to a high standard and have great attention to detail.
- You are comfortable handling cleaning products and chemicals (training is provided).
